Since we were still tired from travel, we decided to take it easy and explore Borough Market and walk along the Thames.
The next day we spent at Portobello Road Market, which is like a flea market of sorts. Lots of food, antiques, vendors, and fun to be had!
This man walked around with his dog on his shoulder, like a pirate and his parrot. It was entertaining.
The paella was really colorful.
We grabbed a picnic lunch and attempted to find a nice grassy area to eat. We ended up in Notting Hill, where people drive Aston Martins and have Louis Vuitton diaper bags. We found an open gate, and ended up in this beautiful park for lunch.
Turns out, the place was "for subscribers only", and we ended up getting locked IN the park. Whoops! We finished the day exploring Hyde Park and ended up on Rose's rooftop. The dormitory has a communal kitchen, and from the kitchen window you can access the rooftop for a great view.
