Pizza Night

After a hard week of clocking 20+ hours for senior projects, 20+ hours at work, and other time to SWE and other classes, I decided I deserved a cooking night.

Ryan and I went to Sunflower market to get some veg and meat, and made an artichoke + spinach + sausage + fresh mozzarella pizza.

It was AWESOME. We ate our pizza while watching Harry Potter...it was a good Friday night. :)

Avenue Q

For Ryan's Birthday, I bought him tickets to go see Avenue Q during their national tour's stop in Denver.

We got all dressed up to go to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The musical was HILARIOUS! It's an homage to Sesame Street, but a very mature one. It's all about a fresh college graduate who is trying to find his purpose in life (he also happens to be a puppet in true Jim Henson fashion). It's definitely one that I would love to see on Broadway.

Senior Projects

If you can't tell from my lack of updates, school has started...

It's been a flurry of getting things organized and starting my final undergraduate studies. I've also been trying to catch people who are quickly fleeting since I missed summer in Boulder (like Elsbeth, who is going to Lisbon, Portugal for a year! Linked her blog on the right).

The main focus of next two semester will be my Senior Design Capstone project. Meet dMAV (Deployable Miniature Aerial Vehicles)! The goal is to create a deployment system for a large RC plane so that it can store and deploy 2-4 autonomous daughterships. We will be blogging our progress weekly beginning next week. Right now, it is a very very sparse template, but expect it to be fleshed out in the following weeks!
